3. Product Use & Safety
Usage Disclaimer: Our fishing rods are designed for normal angling use. Misuse—including “high-sticking,” impact damage, or intentional abuse—can lead to injury or damage and is not covered under warranty.
Assumption of Risk: Users accept all risks related to fishing activities and equipment use.
Liability Limitations: We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages.
Product Care Tips: – Inspect rods before use – Avoid “high-sticking” – Transport in protective sleeves – Rinse after saltwater exposure – Store in cool, dry places
4. Shipping & Returns
Shipping: – Canada-only shipping – Orders ship within 30 business days; custom rods may take up to 6 months – Tracking provided upon shipment
Returns: – Request must be made within 7 days of delivery – Items must be unused and in original packaging – Customer covers return shipping unless item is defective – Refunds issued to original payment method – No exchanges; reorder instead. Custom rods are non-returnable unless defective.
5. Warranty Coverage
Coverage Period: – Original owner only for all levels. Level 1: 1 year – Level 2: 3 years – Level 3: Lifetime
What’s Covered: Defects in materials and workmanship
What’s Not Covered: – Misuse or neglect – Accidental damage – Wear and tear – Unauthorized repairs
Claim Process: – Contact us for a Return Authorization Number – Provide proof of purchase and photos – Ship product to us for inspection
Paid Replacement Program: Available for non-warranty damage. Cost based on components and labor.
6. Wholesale Terms
Agreement: All orders are subject to these terms unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment: Full payment required before shipment. Accepted methods: credit card, e-transfer, etc.
Warranty: 7-day defects-only inspection window for wholesale buyers.
Claims & Returns: – Must be reported within 7 days – Authorization required for returns – Unauthorized returns will be rejected
Annual Volume Requirement: – $5,000 CAD minimum to maintain wholesale status – Discounts: – Level 1 ($5K–$10K): 40% off components / 30% off rods – Level 2 ($10K+): 60% off components / 30% off rods
Other Key Points: – $200 order minimum; $20 fee if below – Freight terms: F.O.B. Alliston, ON – Special/back orders: non-cancellable and non-returnable – Cancellations: Must be made 30 days before ship date
